AVVINAMENTI 2023

A five-day Milanese event dedicated to wine. The project, born from an idea by Daniele Sottile and developed together with Luca Carraro and Sergio Ronchi, brought to the Phyd headquarters in via Tortona 31 over 1500 people involved in the various moments on the calendar: from the inaugural cocktail dinner to the masterclasses, from the brunches to the tasting counter attended by 35 cellars in total selected by the organizers, who, rather than stopping to celebrate the great success of the initiative, want to look forward eager to work on the continuity and growth of the concept in its various declinations:

We like to consider the first 5 beautiful days just passed as the vernissage of a permanent exhibition that will continue until the next edition in 2024, which we are already working on. – Luca Carraro comments – We were very impressed by how much the wine producers present appreciated and understood the message of the partnership and I think I can say that we succeeded in the intent we had set ourselves: Avvinamenti was not experienced simply as a tasting occasion among many, but as the beginning of a complex project, with a far-reaching vision and real and concrete continuity.

The atmosphere we breathed during all 5 days convinced us that an important element of the success recorded was also the small size of this event that allowed everyone to grasp its energy and savour its elegant, “capsule collection” mood. The selection of a small number of protagonists who share certain characteristics in terms of production philosophy, number of bottles, passion for the product, family management, qualitative excellence will certainly remain a focus of Avvinamenti.
What we now want to do is to give continuity to Avvinamenti throughout the year by transporting the same mood to other places, as long as they are always consistent with the project, as in the case of Canottieri Lario in Como.”
